Where we base our trips matters to us.
We like to work in private settings with great access to the hills. We’re hot on not heating up the planet, so sustainability matters to us too.
We can arrange walks and workshops UK wide, but we do have some favourite places.
In the Brecon Beacons locations don’t fit much better to who we are and what we do than Like Work But Different. Jackie and Ian have created the perfect sustainable venue for small groups in a restored farm, with use of their land and easy access to the black mountains. This really is getting away from it all (expect warm hospitality and fast broadband).
We don’t use anyone else to cater for us here than Clive and four seasons catering. Fantastic food delivered on time and with a smile!
In Gloucestershire we can’t go anywhere other than The Matara Centre (that’s a fib, but we do love it) where we setup home in the palm house. The walks here are in the beautiful Cotswold valleys above Nailsworth, in and out of woodland. We have a strong relationship with Raoul and Holly from Well Seasoned catering and always recommend them first for Gloucestershire events.
We love the Lake District and have several ideas for venues. One of our favourites is the Glaramara hotel in Borrowdale. With 25 modern rooms, grounds we can make use of and the best fell walking in England from the front door. Glaramara is privately owned and the team are experienced in supporting business groups
Safety Matters
We’re experienced and licensed to take groups walking anywhere in the UK. Talk to us if there’s a different part of the world that would work for you.
We’ll make sure the route is planned to suit those with us on the day.
We take safety seriously. We regularly return DofE students to their families. Your team’s safety and comfort gets the same respect.
Lunch Matters
Always top-quality food and drink on arrival. And a lunch we can’t wait to join you in enjoying.
Afternoon tea and cake when we’re back to base or an evening meal depending on our plans for the evening.
We expect high standards from our venues, as you do from your teams.
